GoDaddy has been losing ground to competition in relation to web hosting. The latest quarter financials in August 2018 confirmed this fact, with investors left disappointed.
GoDaddy has an unshakeable stigma for shared servers that are slow and aged with not enough power to serve a lightbulb, service that leads from the initial customer agent to the long winded tech support ticket department (not loved when your website has crashed) and overall the consumer ratings are poor, as noted on TrustPilot.
